Preface

The EUI Library Research Data Guide is the result of more than 10 years of experience matured by the EUI Library staff and colleagues from across the whole Institute. We deeply thank all who contributed and made their expertise available. It also benefits from many open resources developed and released by authoritative institutions in the area of Research Data Management. All resources are properly cited, but if you see a missing citation, please let us know.

Note on the 12th edition of the guide

The EUI Library Research Data Guide (12th edition) includes major changes with respect to the previous editions, in terms of structure, content and web publication. Building on the expertise developed by the EUI Library in the last decade, this edition aims to support improved navigation between the sections, additional resources to further explore each topic, and a finer-grained research data lifecycle.

For information about how this guide is built and published refer to its README.

For any questions, comments or feedback please reach out to Simone Sacchi EUI Research Data Librarian, or create an issue on the Research Data Guide GitHub repository

Note on the previous editions of this guide

All previous editions of the EUI Library Research Data Guide were curated by Thomas Bourke, EUI Information Specialist for Economics and Social and Political Sciences, who provided invaluable expertise and support to the entire EUI Academic Community. Full acknowledgment and recognition are given to his excellent work.
